Riverlands 100

After a hard winter in Maine, we are itching to run long again on muddy and dirty snow-free trails. And because what’s better than a race to look forward to, we devised a way to get our fix this coming May. Welcome to Maine’s first 100 mile trail race, the Riverlands 100! Solo runners will do 5 laps of a beautiful 20-mile out-and-back trail at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park in Turner, ME. The trail is mostly ATV trail that has a little of everything: river views of the Androscoggin (listen for loons!), dense forest, ups and downs, rocks and roots and hopefully some good mud. About 20% is sweet single track, the best Maine offers.

There is not much flat, but it has the potential to be a fast 100 for experienced ultra runners and a perfectly challenging, but do-able 100 for first-timers. Thinking of making it a party? We will also be offering a 100 mile relay for teams of 5. Each relay runner must complete the 20-mile section. We did have some 4 person teams where one runner did two legs. This works, too!

The Riverlands 100 is a trail race put on by experienced trail runners for people who like to push their limits. Come join us!

Aid stations are about every 5 miles along the course. Drop bags may be left at each aid station.

Cutoff Time : 32:00 hours.
