What we collect
Nothing. 26m.com does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no login system, no analytics scripts, and no advertising networks.
Weather data
When you check conditions, your browser makes a direct request to the Open-Meteo API — a free, open-source weather service. 26m.com does not proxy, log, or see these requests. Open-Meteo's own privacy policy applies to that data.
Local storage
The following data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage — on your device, never sent anywhere:
- Saved locations (names and coordinates you choose to save)
- Run check history (scores and conditions you've logged)
- Preferences (temperature offset, activity mode)
- Weather cache (recent API responses, stored for up to 1 hour)
You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings, or using the "Clear all" button in the History tab.
Cookies
No cookies are set by 26m.com. The Outfit font is loaded from Google Fonts — Google may set cookies as part of that service. If you prefer not to load Google Fonts, the page falls back to system-ui gracefully.
Third-party services
- Open-Meteo — weather data API. No key required, no account needed. Their terms.
- Google Fonts — Outfit typeface. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. Since we collect no information from anyone, this is largely moot.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will reflect it. Since we collect nothing, there's very little that could change.
